Tinctures are fast-acting, convenient to use and offer flexible dosing. Our CBD oil tinctures contain all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other natural compounds (except THC) extracted from our proprietary strain of hemp to offer you the highest quality CBD oil you can buy.
What is Broad Spectrum CBD
Tessera Naturals CBD products contain all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and other naturally occurring compounds extracted from our special strain of phytocannabinoid-rich hemp, with the exception of THC. When consumed together, our whole plant broad spectrum profile produces what is known as an “entourage effect“. This synergistic relationship between cannabinoids and terpenes has been shown to increase the healing properties of one another.
How do I use CBD tinctures?
Sublingual application is one of the most popular and effective formats for taking CBD. This allows the compound to be absorbed through the capillaries under the tongue and directly into the bloodstream. Many people also add CBD tincture oil to their food or beverages. This is definitely ok to do, but understand that there may be reduced bioavailability and absorption as the oil must be processed through your digestive system before reaching the bloodstream. Read our previous blog post All About Tinctures.
How much CBD should I take?
Finding the optimal dose is an individual process as each person is different. Some people are more sensitive to CBD than others and need less to take effect. Also, different factors will effect how much CBD is the right dose for you such as diet, weight, sleep patterns, genetics, etc. Read our previous blog post about dosage.
When taking CBD for the first time, it’s best to start low, around 10-20mg. Then slowly increase over the next few days until you’ve feel you’ve found the most effective dose for you. Most people end up somewhere between 10-80 mg of CBD per day, with higher doses for insomnia, therapeutic effects and “flare ups”.
Visit our CBD Dosage Calculator for a recommended daily starting point based on weight, condition and severity. Again, every individual is different so it will inevitably require some expirementation to find your sweet spot.
How to Measure Serving Size
Each bottle contains 30ML. One full dropper is 1ML, so if you take a full dropper each day, the bottle will last you 30 days. If you take only half dropper per day, then the bottle will last you 60 days, etc.
Please refer to this chart in order to measure dosage depending on the potency and dropper fill level.
What does “Natural” flavor taste like?
Our “Natural” flavor is basically… no flavor. It does not contain any external flavors or sweeteners. Tessera Naturals tinctures CBD tinctures are made from the extract of the hemp plant, so it has the distinct earthy/grassy flavor of cannabis. Terpenes within the hemp plant are responsible for the unique recognizable aromatic scent of cannabis that many people find calming and enjoyable.
NOTE: If you give your pet CBD oil using tinctures, it’s best to stick with natural flavor as some essential oils, such as peppermint oil, may be toxic to some dogs.
Where is Our Hemp From?
